Our Dojo
Our Dojo is run by International and National Champions in Traditional Shotokan Karate. Founded by 3 brothers who have been training in Shotokan Karate all of their life, with a specialty in Self Defense and Sparring.
In our martial art and especially our dojo we have very high standards in terms of our students and do not give belts away; while also having a welcoming and family-like atmosphere.

Chief Instructor Barry Power
(Karate - Sandan (3rd Degree))
Our head Sensei, Barry Power, is a 3rd degree (Sandan) black belt.
He received his Shodan (1st degree) & Nidan (2nd degree) ranking in 1993/1998 respectively by Nishiyama Sensei and his Sandan (3rd degree) ranking by Smaby Sensei in 2005.
Barry F. Power is a five-time U.S. national champion and multiple-time International Medalist.
Main Instructor Sean Huchzermeier
(Karate - Sandan (3rd Degree))
Sensei Sean Huchzermeier is a 3rd degree (Sandan) black belt.
He received his junior Shodan (1st degree) ranking from sensei James Morrone in 2003. He received his adult Shodan (1st degree) ranking from Sensei Power Sr. in 2007. He received his Nidan (2nd degree) ranking from sensei Avi Rokah in 2011. In 2017, Sensei Toru Shimoji raised his rank to Sandan (3rd degree).
Sean is 3 time US National Team Kumite champion, 2 Time Kumite National Champion and an International Competitor.
